Acura TL is a mid-size sports sedan manufactured by Acura. Acura TL was introduced in 1995 to replace the Acura Vigor and rebadged. TL since 2007 has ranked as the best-selling luxury sedan in the United States second behind the BMW 3 Series. Four generations of the Acura TL have been produced to date. Also this car is also named as the safest category of luxury mobel Midsize luxury / near luxury cars.
For the 2012 model, Honda offers new front and rear styling on the Acura TL. Acura update the "beak" on the controversial front grille insert, replace it with a smaller insert that flows better with the lights and create a sleek profile. Apart from cosmetic changes, the new TL now comes with a Honda 6-speed, multi-clutch automatic transmission for improved performance and efficiency. This transmission features downshift rev-matching throttle blips and the ability to shift down two teeth at a time.
Additional new features include ventilated seats, a new 60GB HDD, blind-spot information system, and upgraded wheels. TL 2012 is still good base 3.5L 280 hp (209 kW) £ 254 • ft (344 N • m) and SH-AWD model '3 .7 L 305 hp (227 kW) £ 273 • ft (370 N • m) of the machine but now gets 2 mpg more in city (20 mpg) and 3 mpg better on the highway (29 mpg), thanks to less friction engine and 6 speed automatic transmission. The 6-speed manual transmission will continue to be offered. Model 2012 is also 3dB quieter on the highway.
